Ingredients

1 pre-made flatbread or naan (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups fresh baby spinach

1 large apple (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), thinly sliced

8 oz Brie cheese, cut into thin slices

1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Fresh thyme leaves (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Flatbread: Place the flatbread or naan on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Sauté the Spinach: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the fresh spinach, sauté for about 2-3 minutes until it’s wilted. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Layer the Ingredients: Start layering the flatbread. First, spread the sautéed spinach evenly over the flatbread. Next, arrange the thinly sliced apples on top of the spinach. Layer the Brie cheese slices over the apples, covering as much of the flatbread as possible.

Add Walnuts: Sprinkle the chopped walnuts evenly over the cheese. Drizzle a small amount of honey (if using) over the top for a hint of sweetness.

Bake the Flatbread: Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the Brie is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread are crispy.

Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a minute, then drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves for added flavor.

Slice and Serve: Cut the flatbread into slices or wedges and serve warm, enjoying the sweet and savory flavors of apples, Brie, and walnuts.
