Baked Ranch Chicken Alfredo Pasta

1 lb (450g) penne pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

Salt and pepper to taste

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, and the ranch dressing mix. Sauté for about 7-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

        Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

          Combine Pasta and Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne, sautéed chicken, and the Alfredo sauce. Mix well until the pasta is evenly coated.

            Assemble in Baking Dish: Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
