Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup spinach (optional, for added color and nutrition)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken breasts. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.

Add Garlic and Spinach: Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. If you're using spinach, add it to the skillet and cook until wilted.

Create the Alfredo Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to stir until the cheese melts completely and the sauce has thickened, about 3-5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the creamy Alfredo sauce. Let it cook together for a few more minutes to meld the flavors.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
