12 oz fresh mozzarella sticks, cut into half

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Dredging Stations: Set up three shallow dishes — one with flour, one with the beaten eggs, and the third with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

      Dredge the Mozzarella Sticks: First, coat each mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dip them into the beaten eggs, ensuring they're fully coated. Finally, roll them in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.

        Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated mozzarella dippers on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each piece.

          Spray with Oil: Lightly spray the tops of the mozzarella dippers with cooking spray or olive oil spray. This will help achieve that beautiful crispiness.

            Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the dippers are golden brown and crispy. For extra crispiness, you may broil them for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end (watch carefully to prevent burning).

              Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
