For the Crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Filling:

2 cups vanilla yogurt (Greek style recommended)

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup finely diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Topping:

¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)

¼ cup additional caramel sauce for drizzling

Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish to form an even crust.

          - Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until it’s lightly golden. Let it cool completely.

            Prepare the Apple Mixture:

              - In a bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning. Set aside.

                Make the Filling:

                  - In another large bowl, whisk together the vanilla yogurt, caramel sauce, and ground cinnamon until smooth.

                    Combine Ingredients:

                      - Gently fold the diced apples into the yogurt-caramel mixture until evenly distributed.

                        Assemble the Squares:

                          - Pour the yogurt-apple filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and spread it out evenly.

                            - Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top if desired.

                              Freeze:

                                - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Once frozen, remove the dish from the freezer and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.

                                      - Cut into squares and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.

                                        - Serve with whipped cream if desired!
