Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups snow peas, trimmed

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon sesame oil (or vegetable oil)

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, tossing until well coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.

Prepare the Snow Peas: While the shrimp is marinating, rinse the snow peas under cold water and trim the ends, then set them aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp (reserve the marinade for later) to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.

Add Snow Peas: After the shrimp are cooked, add the snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the peas are tender-crisp and bright green.

Add Sauce: Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet, swirling the pan to mix everything together. Let it simmer for about a minute to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp and snow peas to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for extra crunch and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles to soak up the delicious honey garlic sauce!
