6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Prepare the baking dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray and set aside.

    Melt the butter: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it’s fully melted and bubbling.

      Add marshmallows: Once the butter is melted, add in the mini marshmallows. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
