1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red or yellow for color)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Cooked rice (white or brown) for serving

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the flank steak with soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, oyster sauce, and rice vinegar. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

    Prepare the Vegetables: While the beef is marinating, rinse and cut the broccoli into florets and slice the bell peppers. Set aside.

      Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat until shimmering.

        Stir-Fry the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the pan in a single layer. Allow it to sear for about 1-2 minutes without stirring, then stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until just cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
