Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 ripe avocado, diced

1/4 cup chopped red onion

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it up with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Beef: Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant and evenly distributed.

Prepare the Avocado Salsa: In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocado, chopped red onion, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt. Toss gently to mix and set aside.

Warm the Tortillas: In a separate skillet, heat the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side until they are warmed and slightly toasted.

Assemble the Tacos: To each tortilla, add a portion of the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese. Top with a generous scoop of the fresh avocado salsa.

Serve: Enjoy the tacos immediately, garnished with extra lime wedges and cilantro, if desired.
