Ingredients

2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 baguette or assorted crackers (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Spinach: In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped spinach until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly, then squeeze out any excess moisture and finely chop.

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Beat until smooth and creamy, using a hand mixer or a whisk.

Add Flavorings: Stir in the sour cream, mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.

Incorporate Spinach: Fold the chopped spinach into the creamy mixture, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the spinach dip into a greased baking dish (about 8x8 inches works well). Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Serve warm with sliced baguette or assorted crackers for dipping.
